As part of an SVEEP initiative to promote voter awareness and registration among the youth population, a two-day free football camp and exhibition match were held on the 1st and 2nd of September 2023 at the local Ground in Chumoukedima Town. The event was organized by the Nagaland State Election Commission in collaboration with the District Commissioner and District Election Officer of Chumoukedima and the Nagaland Sports Association.

On the opening day, ADC Dr. Kuzonyi Wideo welcomed players and coaches, highlighting the importance of voter awareness and urging youths above 18 years of age to register in the electoral roll.

SVEEP State icon, Keneinguze Imanuel Pienyu, who is also a certified AIFF Coach, emphasized the responsibility of young people in society, both on and off the field. He encouraged young people to register to vote, as their decisions shape the future. He also stressed that transfer and posting of medical practitioners would follow a similar pattern to administration and police departments, with a three-year limit.

On the second day, a football exhibition match was held between CEO Team and District Team, with the District Team emerging as the winner. Voter registration for first-time voters was also carried out during the two-day event.

The program was attended by ADC Chumoukedima, the President of the Nagaland Sports Association, the District Sports Officer, and staff from the election branch in Chumoukedima.
