Imphal : Manipur police arrested one alleged vehicle lifter and recovered one stolen car during a raid at Khangabok under Thoubal district on Sunday night, a police report stated here on Monday.

The report stated that one Maruti Alto car pearl silver in colour which was reported stolen from Samu Makhong, Ima Market area of Imphal West District on August 25 has been recovered by a team of City Police Station along with one vehicle lifter.

The alleged lifted has been later identified as Keithellakpam Unibash Singh (23) yrs s/o K. Ibomcha Singh of Huikap Awang Leikai, Imphal East district. The arrest and recovery of the vehicle were made during the raid at the Eastern side of Khangabok Hayel Labuk Inter Village Road near a culvert, Khangabok, Thoubal district. Police registered a case in this connection.
