Deputy secretary DHAC described the scheme and urged the people to avail maximum benefit out of it
Haflong : Along with the rest of the state the Dima Hasao district also celebrated the 5th anniversary of the “Ayushman Bharat Diwas” in the conference hall of Shiksa Bhawan Haflong on Saturday. The programme was attended by Principal Secretary DHAC, Thai Tsho Daulagupu ACS, Deputy Secratary DHAC , Rebecca Changsan ACS, Superintendent of Haflong Civil Hospital, Dr. Kalpana Kemprai and medical officials.
Principal Secretary spoke about the scheme and how it has been benefitting the needy from various corners of the country including our district. Deputy secretary DHAC described the scheme and urged the people to avail maximum benefit out of it.
She also highlighted the benefits of Ayushman Bharat card and said that under this policy, private hospitals and state government hospitals may provide up to Rs. 5 Lakhs. Eligible individuals can use the card to avail cashless and paperless healthcare benefits.
During the programme a certificate of appreciation for the highest E-cards generation in the district was given. After the end of the program, an awareness rally was held participated by the health workers , nursing students of Holy spirit hospital, nurses and Asha workers. Drawing competition was also organized on the occasion.
