The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director, along with a specialized team has arrived today

Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has assured the people of the state that in light of the distressing news of two children being shown dead in a social media post that went viral on Monday he stated,  ‘I want to assure the people of the State that both the state and central government are closely working together to nab the perpetrators”.

In his social media handle, the Chief Minister also wrote, ‘To further expedite this crucial investigation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director, along with a specialized team, will be arriving in Imphal in a special flight on 27 September. Their presence underscores the commitment of our authorities to swiftly resolve this matter.

The Chief Minister informed that he has been constantly in touch with Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the matter and to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

Huge protest were seen on Tuesday by school children where more than sixty students were reposed to be injured in police action in Imphal city.
