Wings of Hope , a registered organization operating across India, stands as a non-religious, apolitical, and not-for-profit entity committed to uplifting those in need.

Wings of hope comprises ex-soldiers, teachers, bankers, philanthropists, social workers, and entrepreneurs. And also from diverse team who shares a common vision of extending a helping hand to those facing adversity in our society.

Conceived amidst the ongoing crisis on September 22, 2023, their mission is rooted in the desire to improve the lives of fellow citizens impacted by natural disasters, conflicts and communal tensions.

Their objectives include providing educational support, facilitating livelihood opportunities through skill development and offering mental health care to traumatized individuals, particularly to children and women.

In line with their mission, they were pleased to announce Phase #1, Mission #1, which was scheduled today on February 25, 2024 at Bhandari Mantop, Wangkhei Thangjam Leikai, Imphal East, at Dr. L. Tondon Singh’s residence.

The private function organized by Wings of Hope aims to provide education support to 20 deserving children affected by the recent clashes in Manipur.

These children, hailing from families of the late “ATHOUBAS,” also received assistance for school uniforms, books, and stationery

Further, Wings of Hope showed their gratitude to the generous donations from 100 individuals across the country. They also extended their heartfelt gratitude to each donor and well-wisher for the latter’s invaluable contributions.

Retd Lt. Col. L. Manongba (Indian Army Veteran) President of Wings of Hope said, “We express our gratitude to HQ 9 Sector Assam Rifles for their support in providing stationery and essential items for the children and their families”.

Rtd Lt Col L Manongba further said that looking ahead to Phase #2, Mission #2, Wing of Hope recognizes the need to support approximately 100 more paternal orphans, who are the future pillars of our society.

Operating solely on generous donations from friends and well-wishers, he appeals to all those who share their vision to join them in their mission to provide these children with the opportunity to study and smile.

Last but not least , Lt. Col. L. Manongba on behalf of Wings of Hope extended his sincere appreciation to everyone who supports their noble cause.
