The second round of training for the polling personnel of Jiribam which commenced from 7th April, 2024 in 4 batches at the training hall and conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Office, Jiribam in connection with the ensuing 18th General Election to Lok Sabha, 2024 concluded

The second round of training for the polling personnel of Jiribam which commenced from 7th April, 2024 in 4 batches at the training hall and conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Office, Jiribam in connection with the ensuing 18th General Election to Lok Sabha, 2024 concluded today.

Altogether 234 polling personnel including 63 women were imparted training by the Master Trainers of District Election Office, Jiribam under the supervision of District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Shri Krishna Kumar, IAS.

During the training session, DEO, Jiribam Krishna Kumar inspected the training of Polling Personnel and interacted with the trainees and urged the trainees to soak the training contents thereby clearing the doubts during the training sessions. He also thanked the officials and the trainees for their cooperation and commitment shown to the District Election Office and wished everyone to conduct the ensuing 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024 safely and successfully. The polling personnel were also trained about the functioning of EVM and the statutory and non-statutory documents, ballot unit, control unit and VVPAT along with tools were also conducted as per ECI guidelines.

The program was also attended by ARO Jiribam, Th. Manoranjan Singh, Nodal Officer for the welfare of Polling and ZEO, Jiribam, Th. Amurashi Chanu,  Nodal Officer Training Th. Somorendro Singh and Assistant Nodal Officer Training Y. Sanathoi Singh.

It may be mentioned that 1st round of training of 154 polling personnel was held on 22nd March, 2024 in 4 batches.
