In the recently declared Higher Secondary Final Exam 2024 by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. On the whole, the state’s pass percentage is 89.18%, 89.88% and 87.80% in Arts, Science and Commerce correspondingly.

Out of 6089 students from Karbi Anglong district in Arts stream, 4572 have passed and the percentage is 75.09 of this, 449 students in first-division. In the same stream, West Karbi Anglong held 86.57 pass percentages; with 1463 out of 1690 candidates cleared the exam. 283 candidates secured first division.

In the Commerce stream, 559 candidates from Karbi Anglong appeared in the exam, 492 came out successfully and the pass percentage is 88.01, of this, 132 have passed in first-division. In West Karbi Anglong, 27 students appeared and 25 passed. 17 of them got first division.

In the Science stream, 894 students appeared for the exam from Karbi Anglong and 770 came out successful. 216 of them got first division. Meanwhile, the name of West Karbi Anglong did not appear in the list of the districts in this stream because there is no school in the district with any centre to conduct the examination in science stream.
