Addressing a press conference yesterday, Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council in charge education department Richard Tokbi, said that the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council will extend all basic support to scholars attempting the Common University Entrance Test from Karbi Anglong.

Tokbi said that “the council will bear expenses from its relief fund, which will cover traveling, food, and lodging, for students of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong.” Tokbi informed that in Karbi Anglong district 4,572 students in the Arts stream, 492 students in Commerce, and 770 in Science streams and in West Karbi Anglong, there are 1,463 students in the Arts stream, 25 students from the Commerce stream are getting ready for this examination.
