A felicitation programme of Haobijam Devshree Devi who has secured 138th rank in UPSC, Indian Forest Service Examination 2023 was held in the Conference Hall of NIT Manipur today.
Devshree completed her B.Tech in ECE from NIT Manipur in 2015. The felicitation programme was attended by the Director i/c, Deans, senior officials, faculty members and staff of NIT Manipur.
The officials and faculty members shared the various challenges faced by the Institute during its initial phase which was a learning experience for everyone.
Devshree belongs to the second batch of engineering graduates of the Institute. Devshree in her speech expressed her gratefulness to the institute for imparting various skills that have become handy in her life.
She also shared the struggle she had during her preparation. She said she would like more of her juniors at the Institute to prepare for the UPSC examination.
L.Dorendro Singh, Assistant Registrar, speaking on the occasion exuded confidence that the Institute will continue to produce distinguished alumni as another student from the same batch had already cleared the UPSC Civil Service Examination with all India Rank of 188 in 2019.
