Nagaland Olympic Association invites participation in Olympic Day Run 2024

Registration for the Olympic Day Run 2024 is now open to all young participants aged 6years to 12 years

The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) is delighted to announce its participation in the global celebration of Olympic Day on 22nd June 2024 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, under the theme “Let’s Move& Celebrate”. This year the event is designed to inspire childrenaged 6years – 12years, aimed at promoting an active lifestyle, promote sportsmanship and celebrate the Olympic spirit.

The event will be conducted in various categoriesas follows:

  1. 50 Meters:             6years – Under 8years (Born between 23/06/2016 – 22/06/2018)
  2. 80 Meters:             8years –Under 10years(Born between 23/06/2014 – 22/06/2016)
  3. 100 Meters:           10years–Under12years(Bornbetween 23/06/2012- 22/06/2014)

We encourage parents, guardians, schools and sports enthusiasts to actively support and encourage their children’s participation in this memorable event. By joining the Olympic Day Run, young participants will not only engage in physical fitness but also develop lasting friendship and a sense of unity through sports.

The Nagaland Olympic Association is glad to announce that a total cash prize up to Rs 100000/- (One Lakh Only) will be awarded to the winners, along with merit certificate from the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA). Each participant will also receive certificate from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Registration for the Olympic Day Run 2024 is now open to all young participants aged 6years to 12 years. There is no entry fee. The last date for registration is 17th June 2024.
