Barpeta :  Amidst the electoral battleground in Barpeta Lok Sabha constituency, AGP candidate Phanibhusan Chowdhury of the BJP alliance made remarks regarding the alliance’s inability to garner the anticipated support from minority voters. Chowdhury expressed these views while arriving at Abhayapuri in Bongaigaon district.

Throughout the election process, Phanibhushan Chaudhary initially trailed behind in every round of voting. However, he managed to secure a lead, continuing the trend from previous elections. Despite facing a fierce competition between the NDA and INDIA factions, Choudhary remains confident in the prospects of the NDA forming the government at the Centre.
