The recently concluded Indo-Nepal International Awards Summit 2024 has been a spectacular one and has seen a surge in the number of awardees being received at the event which was organized by The International Awards Forum (TIAF-USA) and Co-sponsored by Brookfield International University, South Dakota, USA. The TIAF USA has been the forerunner in respecting, recognizing and rewarding personalities and it has happened first time in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Celebration in Kathmandu, Nepal at Hyatt Regency, amidst the busy Saturday on June 08 2024 as Indo-Nepal International Awards Summit 2024 came to a conclusion and ended on a high note while the Chief Guest and other Guest of Honors made their way and the selected awardees received the prestigious awards at the event.

The International Iconic Star Award, International Women’s Gloria Award, Global Healthcare Award, Global Excellence in Leadership Award, and Honorary Doctorate Award recipients were seen immersed in the jubilant atmosphere.

The International Iconic Star Award and Global Excellence in Leadership Award were presented to the eminent scholars, and top officials of different organizations and the exclusive women-centric International Women’s Gloria Award was presented as a mark of respect and honor to Women Personalities for their achievement and contribution.

The event was presided over by Dipak K Risal, the Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu, Nepal and with the blessings of Yogi Priyavrat Animesh, the founder of OOJ Foundation, and other dignitaries namely Vikas Mittra Saxena, President, Management & Technical Development Council, New Delhi, India, Dr. Rahul Banerjee, Ex Senior Consultative Committee Member G-20, NDMA, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, Anshuman Tiwari, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Dr. Murthy Devarabhotla, President – Amicability Diplomatic Club, Ved Sharma, Convener, Indo-Nepal Chapter, FII amongst others.

Dr. Rahul Banerjee erstwhile GM- IBM ISA regaled the audience of eminence with his escape story from the earthquake that struck the Everest Region in 2015. He emphasised the importance of Nepal taking the vanguard lead in disaster resilience & response having faced disasters of signature events as long bac as 1905 at Mustang.

The importance of disaster as a subject in the art of pedagogy with PhD students awarded to a subject likewise was emphasised. New schools of thought were laid bare for action.

Several Nepali Government and Political Leaders such as Madhav Kumar, Former Prime Minister of Nepal, Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Vice-President of Nepal, Upendra Yadav, Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal, Pradeep Yadav, Minister for Health and Population, Govt of Nepal, Dhan Bahadur Budha, the Minster for Urban Development, Govt of Nepal could not witness the event as they had to fly to New Delhi a day before the event to attend the Swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on the following day.

The Awardees were also from different fields and professions such as Directors of various institutions, Professors, supermodels, News Personalities, Journalists, Principals, Astrologers, Advocates, Business Stalwarts, Social Workers
