India’s foreign minister @DrSJaishankar says ‘rising nationalism will shape the world.’ My two observations:

1. World is getting shaped by developing nation’s need for economic growth. Therefore, to check nationalism within sovereign borders, China has proposed Global Civilization Initiative. This means no interference in another nation’s interests, culture & way of life
2. Nations with less hard power (technology power which propels economic & military capabilities) will seek technology from powers with few strings attached. This is why China is popular with most Global South nations.
