#RahulGandhi is deeply afflicted by self-obsession. His alarm about an impending ED raid at his residence on account of the impact of his #Chakravyuha speech in the LokSabha turned out to be a fake one.He claimed he had been informed about the raid by #ED “insiders”: these – if the exist at all- seem to be terribly misinformed. Suppose that’s the result of his normal over reliance on foreign sources of information.

Chakravhuya is a legendary battle formation depicted in the #Mahabharata designed by the Kauravas to ensnare and kill Abhimanyu, a formidable foe. Only Rahul could misapply it to a peacetime budget which is essentially a statement of receipts & expenditure of the govt of the day constitutionally mandated by Article 112 to be laid annually on the table of the House.

Rahul’s belief that his dilettante exposition of the Chakravyuha ruffled the powers that be to the point of ordering an ED raid on him indicates not only that he suffers terribly from delusions of grandeur but also an Emergency mindset as to how power is to be wielded.
