The death of an employee of Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Center at Saskatoon City Canada, is still shrouded in mystery.

The Saskatoon police service recovered the dead body of a female employee from the grounds of Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Center and sent the dead body for autopsy on October 15. But no information about the death has yet been revealed on the website of Saskatoon police department even after 14 days of the tragic incident, it’s found.

The victim was identified as Nandita Bhattacharjee Munmun, wife of Anup Bhattacharjee of Saskatoon City.

It’s learnt that the Nandita of Purbasha residential area of Srimangal Upazilla town in Bangladesh served as a high-ranking official of the Srimangal branch of the Prime Bank Ltd for a long time.

Anup Bhattacharjee and his wife Nandita with their two children migrated to Canada with a view to leading a better life in June of 2022.

After arrival at Saskatoon, Nandita managed a job as an employee of Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Center.

On the day of the incident, Anup Bhattacharjee gave his wife a lift to her office by their private vehicle in the morning. Around 4 pm he went there to bring her back home from the hotel. After waiting till about 5:30, the police official from the hotel brought his wife’s cell phone and said that his wife was no more. But the police could not tell when and how she fell down from the rooftop of the six-storied building of the hotel and died. No witnesses, CCTV footage and debit and credit cards in her purse were found.

On the day of the incident, She was just seen going to the store room, as found in the CCTV footage. After that, no more CCTV footage was found.

As per law, It was supposed to be installed CCTV monitoring throughout the entire hotel, but no CCTV footage of her walking up onto the rooftop of the six-storied hotel and later dying after falling down was reportedly heard.

The key to climbing up the rooftop is also with the maintenance department. In such a situation, the question arises of how, from whom and when she got the key, went on the rooftop and died after falling down.

It’s suspected that there might be a deep mystery and unexpected circumstances behind this death.
