We have been running KRC TIMES since 2019 on our website www.krctimes.com. We are happy to announce the publication of our e-copy today and hope that good journalism can be undertaken by our team effort.

The journalism world across the globe is going through a tough time, particularly in the print medium but equally true is that the quest for information and truth is a universal need of human beings. We need information and news to satisfy our curious minds.

KRC TIMES always had focused on this philosophy of making people enriched and our journey is being evolved towards making the common man heard.

This Northeast edition is toward making the region heard across the globe and we intend to build an ecosystem that would make the region’s news stand out at large.

NE India has got new hope and governments of the day are stating loud that the focus is on NE India. We would like to complement the initiative through our reporting but equally, we do not want to be eye washed into believing something hearsay but also state the ground realities.

Not to mention the human capital of the region is being untapped and underutilised. We need development in the region and to overcome our ethnic divide by respecting our ethnic identities. We intend to focus on advocacy and journalistic activism for development.

The voices of the common man and intelligentsia are often sidelined by the noise of our political outcry and upmanship. We need to detach our understanding from such narratives and balanced communication is needed to speak the truth.

What we need to understand is that the communication is once done does not end there but continues its echo lifelong. So it is our duty to tell that story that can create a message which reflects the mood of the society as well as can mould the public in such a way so that the truth can be deciphered. The goal is always shall be towards the truth and betterment of society.

KRC Foundation the umbrella organisation that promotes KRC TIMES aggressively promotes the Act East Policy of the government of India. Act East Policy is going to be the game changer for this region and we do advocate the initiative so that we can do our part of sensitising the public and equally push the governments and stakeholders to do what needs to be done.
