‘Operation’ in Pakistan

The Centre should take stern measures because the country cannot afford to witness the birth of one more insurgent state

KRC TIMES Desk

The shooting of the chief of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) Paramajit Singh Panjwar in Lahore clearly indicates that the Pakistani establishment is trying to rejig insurgency in Punjab. Now, following this assassination of Panjwar Pakistan cannot afford to claim that they were not aware of his presence in their land like the way Pakistan behaved following the shooting of Osma Bin Laden by the US Special Forces.

Pakistan has always been in a state of denial. On the one hand insurgency is wreaking havoc in Jammu & Kashmir and on the other hand the Khalistanis are trying to raise their head in Punjab. The Centre should take stern measures because the country cannot afford to witness the birth of one more insurgent state. Late KPS Gill contributed a lot in bringing back peace in Punjab.

Let his efforts not go in vain. Hopefully the Indian security establishment and the secret agencies will get their acts together and ensure a safe and secured India for posterity.
