They don’t know the art of handling their stardom
The ugly fight between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir after the end of an encounter in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) has gone viral and taken the social media by storm.
People seem to be enjoying this brawl and are giving their comments on it. To be very precise both these ‘gentlemen’ deserve to be given strict punishment.
Kohli seems to have become extremely arrogant. Probably he is thinking himself bigger that the game itself. His first spat with former national coach Anil Kumble followed by a hurriedly called press-meet expressing his anger against the former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly—the saga continues. Kohli needs to be brought to book.
There are many talented cricketers who are waiting outside the park for their turn. Gambhir too needs to be reprimanded. His dislike for Kohli is known to one and all.
Both these characters should have been aware that cricket is a gentlemen’s game and there is no room for ruffians. The problem with this sort of characters is that they have taken their success for a ride.
They don’t know the art of handling their stardom. The problem is they have earned their name and fame in no time and so they are now facing extreme difficulties in handling their newly discovered name, fame and wealth.
