Pitiful State of Child Labours
Pitiful State of Child Labours
In the scorching fields they work,
With sweat and toil they strive,
They’re just children, but forced to bear,
Responsibilities that shouldn’t be their life…
On World Day Against Child Labour,
We must raise our voices too loud,
For the countless young ones who are made,
To stand in fields, not in school grounds…
Our hearts ache for their sadness,
Of innocents who can’t study or play,
Whose dreams and desires are crushed,
From morning till the end of the day…
Let’s pledge on this day to stand up,
For every child without a voice in favour,
Let us fight with all our humanity might,
Against the evils of child labour…
For a world without childhood lives,
Is a future world that’s dark and grim,
So let’s protect and cherish each child,
And ensure their future always shines
