History is Preserved

History is Preserved

On World Museum Day, let us pay tribute,
To the storied halls and archives absolute,
That preserve history and culture’s pulse,
To learn from and appreciate without repulse…

From the ancient artifacts of brilliant Rome,
To the contemporary works of silvery home,
Museums offer us a glimpse of old time,
And a chance to ponder, think and refine…

The ways in which we live and create,
And the impact we leave, oh so great,
May we honor the curators and staff,
For their tireless work and expertise at craft…

On World Museum Day, let us celebrate,
All that these institutions can create,
Inspiring minds and enriching hearts,
Through the beauty of the world’s finest arts…

So let us cherish and preserve the history,
For they hold in them our human mystery,
World Museum Day we must commemorate,
Museums, for they enlighten and educate…
