Exclusive Interview of Kaushik Rai with Biswadeep Gupta

The BJP candidate of Lakhipur Constituency in Cachar is going to be a prestigious seat looking into the fact that the constituency was dominated by Congress stalwart Dinesh Prasad Goala followed by his son Rajdeep Goala.

Rajdeep resigned from Congress and joined BJP but was not given a BJP ticket this time and Kaushik is nominated.

Though Rajdeep now is the BJP Assam  Spokesperson and was seen first to campaign when Manipur CM visited Lakhipur to campaign for Kaushik Rai.

Kaushik Rai had contested the last Assembly election unsuccessfully from the Algapur constituency.

He was also the Cachar District President of BJP till the election was declared.
