Kognivo Solutions (Irvine, California)  CEO & owner  Arin Brahma signed a game changing MoU with Skyshop Impex Pvt Ltd & its JMD & owner-entrepreneur. Kognivo would invest 4.5  Million over a period of next 48 months into Skyshop on the space of medical instruments supply, installation & commissioning of oxygen plants, and working on related projects under National Health Missions of various states in India – a game changing watershed where bootstrapped entrepreneurs open the doors of fund-source from investors across the border.

Dr. Rahul Banerjee is who we bring to you today – To cover him on a succinct basis, he has been a Chartered Accountant (a national rank holder) and has held a senior position in IBM South Asia as the General Manager for the past many years. All seemed nicely poised and simple for Rahul, but for an inherent non-submitting desire to reach out of the corporate cobwebs and leap onto a completely uncertain but fulfilling field of entrepreneurship and the hundred other disciplines that come along with it.

A leap of faith was probably the single most defining factor that led him to pivot his career into a completely different dimension at an age where people seek refuge insecurities instead.

It wasn’t all roses for Rahul. Even with all the accolades, he carried with himself, he was denied loans from banks and almost all other support systems crippled. His ventures took off with only a small inoculum, which again was majorly self-funded. It is probably the wonders of grit and resilience combined, that enable a man to deal with all such pools of uncertainties and beat the odds thereof.

He decided to step out, unlearn his comfort zone (or probably the lack of it) and rise against the high tides, to surmount a huge number of barricades and reach where he is today.

Rahul is the managing director of Skyshop Impex Private Limited (SIPL)- an import & export MSME that has risen meteorically in the multi-disciplinary fields of Liquid Ink, Printing consumables, Plastic granules, Industrial chemicals, Paper & Paper products, IT Staffing & Business Solutions, and most relevantly Health care.

To expand on the last domain, it is inspiring to note how SIPL has been empanelled in the State National Health Mission too in the facilitation of supplies of Oxygen Concentrators, NIV BIPAPS, Cylinders and all virus protective equipments.

Of special influence is how SIPL rose to the occasion during the pandemic and set up Oxygen Plants in as many as 160 locations, under PMO Care in a joint consortium with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd.

His achievements in the field of entrepreneurship were but just another impetus to push him to extent of becoming a Consultative Committee Member, Food Corporation of India under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & PD.

Rahul also seemed to have a liking for cinemas, so much so that his passionate hunger led to the first Global Film Festival taking place at Sikkim under the aegis of Govt. Of Sikkim & its Special Secretary Ministry of C&I Mrinalini Shrivastava including setting up the first SEZ in IT in the northeast – a maiden watershed event in the last 36 years

There is no summing up of his multi-diversified ventures at his ever so young age, but he believes still that he has only begun.
