The 50th Anniversary of District Hospital, Phek was celebrated in its premises on 10th December 2021 with Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA as the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the celebration of 50 years is a very significant day where one needs to introspect and retrospect and rededicate for the betterment of our people.
He warned the people regarding the epidemic of Covid-19 and to take preventive measures. He thanked the faculty members for their tireless efforts.
MLA Khzhienyi Khalo appreciated the staff and requested them to continue giving their best in serving the people.
A short speech was given by Phek, Deputy Commissioner Razouvolie Dozo. The function was chaired by Dr. Khriezotuo Paphino, CMO Phek. Invocation prayer was pronounced by Lodino Yoho, ANS DHP. The welcome address was given by Dr. Avile Zao, M.S, Dist. Hospital Phek. Special Song was presented by Golden Jubilee Choir DHP. A Brief History of District Hospital Phek was given by Dr. Ngopelo Keviechu, SMO.
A vote of thanks was pronounced by Dr. Wemeri Khutsoh, Convenor, Jubilee Committee. Special Prayer for Jubilee and Feast was given by Rev. Dr.Thupuciyi Khesoh, Pastor PTBC.
