About 500 delegates from all districts of Arunachal, teachers, volunteers are attending the three days Conference from 8 to 10 January
The three-day 10th State Conference of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad has begun on Sunday in Pasighat. It was formally inaugurated by Padma Shree Dr Anshu Jamsenpa. Renowned Onco-Surgeon Dr S. Subbiah who is also a former President of ABVP graced the occasion as Chief Guest. An Exhibition on Heroes of 1962 Sino-India War in Arunachal, Heroes of Arunachal, Tribal Heroes of India, ABVP activities, environment and conservation was inaugurated by First Woman Army Officer of Arunachal Lt Col Ponung Doming.
About 500 delegates from all districts of Arunachal, teachers, volunteers are attending the three days Conference from 8 to 10 January. Other dignitaries include Delhi Students Union President Akshit Dahiya, Arunachal State and Northeast office bearers of ABVP. The theme of the Conference is ‘Yuva Se Banega Atmanirbhar Arunachal’.
Important social issues concerning present day youth like Drug Menace, Cyber Security, Environment & Conservation, Leadership etc would be discussed during the Conference. A cultural rally and many other activities are also planned during the Conference.
