Diphu : The newly improved packaged drinking water production unit of the Assam Hills Small Industries Development Corporation was formally inaugurated by the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council’s Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ronghang at Manja; around seventeen kilometers from Diphu on Saturday.

MLA of Diphu Bidya Sing Engleng, Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Amarsing Tisso, Mongol Sing Timung, Prabhat Chandra TaroManaging Director of Assam Hills Small Industries Development Corporation Dhansing Lekthe, and quite a few board chairmen were present in the inaugural ceremony.With value additions of the production unit through latest machinery the production capability has now gone up from 800 bottles per day to 3,000 bottles.
