Churachandpur : Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur District Shri Dr. Sharath Chandra Arroju, accompanied by Shri Jaideep Mukherjee, Zonal Business Manager, Airtel, launched the Airtel 5G network in Churachandpur district in a function held at DC’s Conference Hall, Mini-Secretariat, Churachandpur today.

Terming the event as a proud moment for him as the DC, the Shri Dr. Sharath Chandra Arroju urged Bharti Airtel to scale up its 5G presence to the far-flung areas of the district as well.Currently, the high-speed services are operational at 10 sites within the town.

Bharti Airtel becomes the first operator to provide 5G services NE region after ManipurChief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh launched the 5G network in a function held at the Chief Minister’s secretariat on December 21, 2022. Shri Thienlaljoy Gangte, ADC, Shri Khaikhopau Ngaihte, ADC, Shri Zosanglur Joute, AC to DC, DLOs, staff from different departments and Bharti Airtel attended the event.
