Today the Election Commission Kolkata North wing is organizing a special Alpana Session at Jessop Building, NS Road. 70 people are to participate in the session to decorate with alpana along with #KolkataVotes

#KolkataVotes is the slogan of this District Election Office. The campaign are through different ways like short TV stories on heritage Kolkata with jingles, different street corners, cycle rally to woo the voters. The Election Commission also signed on a Wall of Democracy on the 2nd floor of the building at 67, NS Road. DEO Mr. Dibyendu Sarkar said,
“Today we have organized an awareness session for Kolkata voters at Big Bazaar, Sealdah”.
The programme was from 4pm -6pm and it reached another dimension with the inclusion of quiz, games and selfie competitions which grew the publics’ eagerness. Comedian Mridul Bhattacharya also joined hands with this awareness programme. The next hault for #KolkataVotes will be at Mani Square tomorrow.
