Imphal: Association of Manipuri Diaspora (AMAND), Pune organized a mass gathering for peace and harmony in Manipur on Wednesda at Aundh, Pune. The purpose of this event is to promote peace, unity, and harmony in Manipur as well as in Pune among all communities and to express sympathy and regret for the unfortunate incident.
People from all walks of life participated in the event and demanded for immediate restoration of peace and normalcy in Manipur. AMAND Vice President, Irom Jiten, thanked all the attendees for their unconditional support.
Not only organisations from Manipur but also other civil organisations from all over the world need to join hands to voice against such egoistic clashes against other communities. The assaillants should think and try to see the situation from the prism of victims and other communities, the reason and their demand. Any decision out of emotion and for the benefit of one single community will destroy entire humanity as any action is a chain to many negative outcomes that would affect the society who share the interest of other communities. Any problem can be solved through peaceful talk. There’s every solution for every peoblem. Violence will bring only the destruction of mankind and it’s the lost of every soul. We need to sit and discuss the win win situation. It’s time to support each other against such violence and clashes. Let’s work together for the peace of Manipur.
