Kohima: Advisor, Art & Culture and Treasuries & Accounts, K. Konngam Konyak inaugurated the Archaeological & Heritage Gallery at the State Museum,  Directorate of Art & Culture,  Bayavu Hill, Kohima on 10th May 2023.

Speaking on the occasion, Konngam spoke on the importance of Archaeological & Heritage Gallery, adding that the Gallery will be a valuable educational resource for all. He encouraged the Department to study and discover more to preserve the rich culture of Nagaland. 

Earlier, the programme was invoked by Pastor, Central Baptist Church, Neichalie Chad. Welcome address was delivered by Commissioner & Secretary, Art & Culture, Athel O. Lotha, IAS. Overview of the Archaeological Gallery was presented by Prof. Tiatoshi Jamir, Department of History & Archaeology,  Nagaland University,  Kohima.  Vote of thanks was delivered by Director, Art & Culture Adel Moa. The programme was chaired by Joint Director,  Art & Culture, Merensola Longkumer.
