Diphu : For people of Diphu it’s a totally new experience to see and know about the book fare. At the initiative of the district administration and prominent publication association of Assam, the Assam Book Fair 2023 has started at Diphu from today.

Assam Book Fair was inaugurated at Diphu Government Boys Higher secondary school playground in presence of reputed authors and publishers. The book fair will continue till February 12, 2023.

At the inauguration ceremony, several priceless books published by the state publication board, Assam Sahitya Sabha and reputed houses were released in the presence of eminent educationists and State publication board higher ups.

The Assam Book Fair is a dual endeavor with All Assam Publishers and BookSellers Association. From day one the fare is receiving enormous response from the book aficionados making the episode triumphant.

Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong has taken immense initiative for organizing the state level event involving the rich tribal art and culture of the hill of Assam, as the region is a mosaic of ethnicity and multiplicity.

Most probably the Publication Board Assam has published a huge number of reprinted and fresh ones. Beside the commercial angle this event is attracting a crowd as various literary and cultural events have been clubbed up with the book fair.
