As many as 60 farmers from rural areas of Haflong took part in the training and expressed their satisfaction for holding such training on such important aspects of farming.
Haflong : Animal Husbandry and Veterinary department, Dima Hasao, Assam organised two day “awareness workshop & introductory training to marginal farmers and youth of rural areas on feed and fodder development under national livestock mission, 2022-23 on 13th & 14th march 2023 at haflong veterinary campus.
The program was attended by Poudamin Newme, EM, T T Daolagupu,Principal Secretary , NCHAC, Dr. B.K. Kakati., Dist. A.H. & Vely. Officer, Dr Jadav Gogoi, Addl Director, Dr. C. D. Borah Deputy Director, Dr. Lopa M. Kemprai, Dist.Nodal Officer, NLM, Dr. Amit Phough., Incharge, C.C., ICDP while Dr. T. L. Theik, and Dr. Hency Dibragede attended as Resource Persons.
All the speakers while encouraging the farming for the livelihood spoke on various government schemes and facilities while appealing to form society and work collectively to face challenges.As many as 60 farmers from rural areas of Haflong took part in the training and expressed their satisfaction for holding such training on such important aspects of farming.
EM Nriame in his encouraging speech appealed to all the farmers to avail the government schemes for their development. He said the council and the State government are very much keen for the all round development of the district and its people.Later EM Newme and all the other dignitaries distributed certificates to the farmers who took part in the training.
