Post election evaluation of BJP party has figured out that it will receive more or less 4,60,000 votes in Diphu parliamentary constituency encompassing six legislative assembly seats i.e. Diphu, Bokajan, Howraghat of Karbi Anglong district, Rongkhang and Amri of West Karbi Anglong and Haflong seat of Dima Hasao district.

Addressing a press conference at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, Diphu yesterday, The party office of East Karbi Anglong District Committee, contesting BJP nominee Amarsing Tisso stated that from the three hill districts of Assam BJP will get exceeding of 4,60,000 votes, which means landslide victory.

Tisso mentioned that according to the latest figure provided by the election commission the by and large the poll percentage in this constituency is 75.61 %, which is 6, 73,000 voters.

He expects that from the casted votes BJP will get over 4, 60,000 votes; and from Dima Hasao district BJP will get around 80,000 votes.

Tisso extended his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president, JP Nadda, Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP Assam Pradesh president, Bhabesh Kalita, Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang and N C Autonomous Council, Debolal Garlosa and BJP presidents of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong district for supporting him in the whole election process.

Tisso told the media that pursuing autonomous state issue will be his priority in the parliament. He mentioned that sitting member of Lok Sabha Horensing Bey has previously placed the bill in parliament.
