HS registers 83.24% pass percentage; Madhyamik registers 86.02% pass percentage
Agartala: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) authority today declared today the results of Madhyamik, HS (+2) , Madrasa Alim and Fazil exams today in a press conference.
Speaking to media persons the TBSE president Dr Bhabatosh Saha said that in this year altogether 33,453 candidates had appeared for the HS (+2) examination and the total pass percentage worked out is 83.24%. Similarly, a lesser number of 33452 candidates had appeared out of which 5605 had got plucked and the final pass percentage is 86.02%.
As in previous years the TBSE has not declared today the names of candidates in both the exams who secured merit positions from one to ten and it was announced that the final computation will take time to declare the names.
In ‘Madrasa Fazil’ exam on theology and arts exam 62 candidates had appeared and all of them got through and similarly in the ‘Madrasa Alim’ exam 121 candidates had appeared and all of them passed the exams. Dr Bhabatosh Saha said that this year students from as many as 214 schools had achieved cent percent results in ‘Madhyamik’ exam-that is, all the candidates got through while students from 19 schools achieved cent percent success in HS (+2) exam.
All the candidates failed in the Madhyamik exam in two schools and HS (+2) in only one school. Only one candidate had been expelled in the HS (+2) exam for adopting unfair means in HS (+2) history exam.
Conveying his thanks and gratitude to all concerned with the examination and evaluation of answer scripts, the TBSE president Dr Bhabatosh Saha said that this year 2652 examiners including 110 head examiners had been appointed for evaluation of answer scripts and all of them did their duties with sincerity while the staff members of the TBSE also did their duties sincerely and with dedication.
