The national space agency ISRO has announced that it will be launched onboard the booster GSLV Mark-Three on Monday, at 2:43 pm from the spaceport at Sriharikota.
Originally Chandrayaan-2 was scheduled to be launched at 2.51 am on July 15.
However, less than an hour before the launch, leakage of liquid fuel in the crucial cryogenic upper stage of the rocket GSLV Mark-Three has been detected, leading to aborting the mission temporarily.
The cause of the leakage is said to have been identified so that it can be plugged.
The current launch window is said to be available only till the 22nd of this month
