Churachandpur: Churachandpur District Administration today received about 250 people from relief camps in Imphal and facilitated free passage of about 30 individuals who were sheltered at different locations in the district.
In its endeavour to restore normalcy, the district administration has continued working day in and day out leaving nothing to chances. It is constantly reaching out to CSO leaders apart from providing relief materials such as rice to philanthropic organisations. It also continued to maintain close security coordination among forces present in the district.
Curfew was relaxed for five hours from 6 AM to 11 AM today. Nute Bazar and Zenhang Bazar were opened for the first time after the unrest. Long queues were formed at ATM booths and banks.
