Pollution is uprising amongst nature as well the human society. It even is creating a barrier to live a sustainable life within this planet. Nowadays, coal fired power plant provides around 40% of India’s electricity. As per the global report, China and America these two giants mostly depended over coal to produce their adequate electricity. Coal fired power plant includes the combustion of coal to generate electricity.

However, such power plants emit a huge quantity of several poisonous gasses which eventually absorbed the sunrays. It increases the environmental heat and accentuates the Global Warming rate. Coal fired power plant has become a curse for green lustrous country- India. Not only that, such deadly elements generated from these plants cause horrible damage over the Indian’s health.

A global research team conducted by the ETH  Zurich’s researcher also reveal that coal fire power plant  apart from Carbon di-oxide emitted another pollutant element like Sulphur di-oxide, Nitrogen di-oxide, CFC, Mercury etc. All these elements are diminishing human health, causing escalation in the environmental pollution. In order to conduct this research the team came up with major findings. Researchers studied very wisely around 7861 Coal Fired power plant‘s emission results effect the environment.

Stephen Helberg, a researcher of Institute of Environmental Engineering department, ETH stated that in Middle-Europe, North-America and China all of these nations’ dependency over coal fired power plants higher. As there such plants are planted with higher technological equipment. Naturally, they are convenient to control over the emission ratio of these pollutants. In other hand, countries like east Europe, Russia and India mostly use the non-updated technologies that are unable to fight against such pollution. 

Although China and America still are in the first row to produce electricity from the coal-combustion. In this context India’s health sufferance is very high due to the lack of high technology and usage of low quality coal. Chief researcher of the team Dr. Christopher Aburschelp warned that most of the health complications take place in India due to the cause of inconsiderate usage of these power plants.

As per the research data, in case of India Coal fired power plant should drive higher attention either to moderate the system accompanied by high technology or not initiating it.
