Jitendra Chowdhury said that if he does not react to such comments, even if the Chief Minister wants to do good work from his heart, he may be misguided
Agartala: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s words and deeds are not consistent in many ways. CPM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury made such comments in a press conference yesterday.
Responding to the Chief Minister’s series of comments on the CPM, Jitendra Chowdhury the other hand held this press conference at the party headquarters on Sunday and highlighted some of the Chief Minister’s ugly statements about the CPM in various newspapers.
Jitendra Chowdhury said that if he does not react to such comments, even if the Chief Minister wants to do good work from his heart, he may be misguided.
That is why he is reacting to the Chief Minister’s comments about the CPM party. Jitendra Chowdhury further said that the Chief Minister said that CPM at one time wanted to divide the society. Now they are talking about uniting the society.
Similarly, Tripura once had an atheist atmosphere. Now people are free from it. The Chief Minister also said that Tripura has seen tremendous development due to Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister. Otherwise, the development of the state would not have been possible.
The Chief Minister has repeatedly said about establishing rule of law in the state, zero tolerance against land mafia, drug trafficking. But in reality it is the opposite. Drug trafficking has increased. And the people of his own party are brokering the land.
Regarding the development of Narendra Modi, Jitendra Chowdhury said that no new major work was done in Tripura during the five years of BJP’s rule. All old works are in slow progress.
This government has not fulfilled any of its promises including setting up AIIMS. Some national highways are under construction. But his proposal was passed during the Congress government in Delhi.
Jitendra Chowdhury, highlighting various such allegations, said that 16 murders have been committed in the state so far, starting from the counting of votes to the oath taking. 78 suicides. 65 unusual deaths. Rape 12. Rape after murder 1. 6 people were kidnapped. There have been 8 incidents of molestations.
There were 137 robbery incidents. There were 17 cases of bride torture. Still, the Chief Minister is saying that good governance is going on along with the progress of the state.
Not only this, Jitendra Chowdhury alleged that chief minister sending a wrong message to the youth of the state by appointed a tainted anti-social youth as the chairman of the Industrial Development Corporation who openly attacked a media office at Agartala city.
In this context, Jitendra Chowdhury complained that the BJP party is giving place to the youth leadership of anti-social and swindler. Even the police are giving concessions to the swindler in various ways. CPM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury wanted to convey that in most cases there is no match between the Chief Minister’s words and actions in this press conference which lasted for about an hour.
