The Youth Front of Autonomous State Demand Committee and Karbi Students Association (Jemson faction) fervently condemned Congress leader and the leader of the opposition Debabrata Saikia for his ostensible comments related eviction plan of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council authority in Professional Grazing Reserve and Village Grazing Reserves within its jurisdiction.

Youth Front of the Autonomous State Demand Committee and Karbi Students Association activists protested against Debabrata Saikia in Diphu yesterday and burned his dummy. Saikia in his statement termed the eviction process of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council as illegal.

The student and youth organizations have demanded clarification from the Congress party, in the all-party meeting convened on this issue.““The All Bodo Students Union, Karbi Anglong District Committee and Bodo frontal organizations have extended their support towards the initiative of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council in this issue.““The Bodo organizations have requested all communities to maintain serenity and accord in the district in the midst of the continuing political development.
