Monsoon In India: Delhiites Wake Up To Pleasant Morning Day After Rain Hits Delhi
Delhiites today woke up to a pleasant morning as overnight light showers in various areas brought down the minimum temperature. The mercury slipped a few notches, while the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded 84 percent. The weatherman has predicted cloudy sky with light rain during the day.
According to the MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average, reports said.
Rain lashed the national capital on Monday as the city’s long wait for monsoon showers ended, and more rains are expected over the next one to two days. The moderate rainfall ended a six-day dry spell in the national capital.
