Haflong: Diksha Langthasa, daughter of Jogesh Langthasa and Sharda Langthasa has brought laurels for Dima Hasao by securing 664th rank in the coveted all India civil services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The result was declared on last Tuesday. Diksha did her graduation from Delhi University and post graduation in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

At present she is working as Assistant Controller of Accounts, Ministry of Home Affairs, and New Delhi. She cleared her civil services in 2018 as well and her rank was 708.

Diksha is the grand-daughter of former chief executive member (CEM) of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) late Sam Chand Hojai.
