Assam Minister for Hills Area Development, Revenue & Disaster Management, Mines & Minerals, Jogen Mohan who is also the Guardian Minister for Dima Hasao district arrived at Haflong on Wednesday evening for the second time today, since his taking the charge.

Expressing his immense satisfaction with the team of Dima Hasao on maximum inoculations of Corona vaccine in Dima Hasao during the three days drive, he congratulated and encouraged to continue the momentum of vaccinating for the safety of the people.

CEM, Debolal Gorlosa briefed how his team along with the help of the District Administration is continuing in generating importance among the mass so as to achieve the vision of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam Chief Minister’s vision of  ‘Free Vaccination for All’ at the earliest.

Medical EM, Samuel Changsan and Haflong, MLA, Nandita Gorlosa also put forward the request for at least one lakh vaccine stock for Dima Hasao district expecting safety and coverage of around 70 percent of the population in days ahead in this trend of speed.

Congratulating CEM, Deputy Commissioner of Dima Hasao, Superintendent line departments including media for an excellent performance of the district in entire Assam during the three days mega vaccination drive, Guardian Secretary, A.P.Das Joshi, IAS ensures about the availability of vaccine in the three hills districts viz, Dima Hasao, Karbi Anglong, and West Karbi Anglong, under him especially considering the difficult geographical terrain. He also informed about his conversation with the Mission Director, NHM Assam that how Dima Hasao stands prioritized for vaccine availability due to its immense dedication and performance during the vaccination drive.

The minister has a plan for visiting various covid vaccination centers Thursday morning to take stock of the ongoing Mega Vaccination Drive that started on 21st June last.
