The ‘Atal Tinkering Laboratory’ in KV Haflong was inaugurated on Tuesday, 16 February 2021 by the Deputy Commissioner, Varun Mitra, KVS Regional Office Guwahati. Keeping in view the present scenario of corona pandemic, social distancing was also followed at all times during the program.

The Deputy Commissioner in his address termed the inauguration of the Atal Tinkering Laboratory is a revolution at the school level so that the students will be able to move towards new horizons with new wings. Students have immense creativity but cannot find the means to experiment to bring them to the surface of reality. In such a situation, through this laboratory, students will be able to give a new dimension to their skills.|

The Principal underlined that today there is a need to create a new mindset in the country, in which the Atal Tinkering Laboratory will work as a brick of the foundation of a new India by opening new opportunities and opening doors to new creation. The KV students will be able to use this facility to give a new life to their dreams – their creativity, at the same time this LAB will also be accessible to other schools in the neighbourhood like state government school, JNV etc.

For such an auspicious occasion Saraswathi Pooja was an apt day to inaugurate the facility and surely the Goddess of knowledge would shower her blessing on all children and faculties alike and motivate all to reach to the expectation of society and the nation.
