People of Diyungbra expressed the distress caused by the non-function of the office of the Block Development officer, Diyungbra Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP) block.

Talking to the media persons people of Diyungbra expressed how they have been facing problems, they said even on official working days the office remains closed and staff working there are rarely seen.

They also expressed how many senior citizens visit the office and yet their work is not done because the office remains nonfunctional.

Further, they said that it has been going like this for a few years where the officer and staff would come once every 3 months.

The government has established the office for the development of the people of Diyungbra but remains non-funtional and unattended for reasons best known to the staff of the office.

But in an utter surprise, renovation and repair works are done spending huge money for the reasons best known to the authority concerned.

The people of Diyungbra appealed to the authority concerned to make the Diyungbra Block Office functional so that the needy and underprivileged people were not harassed for the non-functioning of this one of the important offices.
