Haflong: With an aim to control dengue by creating awareness and initiating preventive action, National Dengue Day was observed on Tuesday at the Urban Health Centre (UHC) Haflong organised by the National Center for Vector borne diseases control Dima Hasao, Haflong. SDM&HO Medical and Health Services, Dr. Leena Hakmosa who presided over the meeting, described various aspects of dengue fever and discussed to promote measures to prevent the disease.

The programme was also attended by the Joint Director of Health Services Dr. Duleshwar Gogoi, District Immunization Officer Dr. Merina Changsan, Nurses and staffs.
