Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal flagged off direct flights of Nok Air’s Guwahati-Bangkok from Guwahati on 21s September.

He further said that to push India’s Act East to open up ties with the vibrant South Eeast Asian market leveraging the historic links and geostrategic location many more destinations in ASEAN & BBN will soon be on the map.

Guwahati now has direct flights to Bangkok, Dhaka, Singapore, Paro
