Haflong : Demanding immediate enquiry and proper justice in regards to the firing and killing of DNLA cadre, Kharmindao Dimasa, Chairman, DPSC/DNLA has written a letter to the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP, SB) Special Branch, Kahilipara-19, Guwahati, Assam on Friday.

Dimasa National Liberation Army Chairman in his letter stated that the DNLA Organization resolved to draw his kind attention that Mahidul Jammal, in Incharge of Maibang Police Station fired illegally on the DNLA Cadres at Night 1.00 AM on 14th September, 2023.

At the spot, one DNLA Cadre named Bibojit Hafila alias Ali Dimasa died and other three DNLA Cadres injured at the Assam Police Firing.

In this regard, he requested him to enquire immediately the case properly and wanted Justice on the firing on the DNLA Cadres.

Copies were also forwarded for Information and Necessary action to- 1. The DGP, Ulubari-7, Guwahati, Assam, 2. District Commissioner, Dima Hasao District, Haflong 3. The Suptd of Police, Dima Hasao, Haflong, 4. In Charge of Maibnag Police Station, Maibang, Dima Hasao.
