Farmer’s Daughter Shines at UP Board Exams

Tanu Tomar of Baghpat, Fatepur, Putti village of Uttar Pradesh is in news for her achievement. She has topped the UP Board Class XII exam with a staggering 97.80 per cent marks.

Speaking to KRC Times the director Shri Upendra Choudhury of Shri Ram Public School where Tanu is a student said, “They are proud of her result and added that her achievement would inspire students from her school to work harder and achieve heights.” While speaking he added “Even though Tanu belongs to a farmer’s family, she has always been encouraged and supported by her family. She wants to become a doctor and do her MBBS.” The school authority says to have organised practice tests for her since they have quite a lot of expectations from her. They said “She has always been a studious student.

 Today Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh have declared their results. In High School, 80.07 percent of  students whereas, for Intermediate 70.06 percent of students have passed. For High School Gautam Raghuvansi  of Kanpur has topped the boards.
