In a tragic incident, at least five persons, including a woman were killed in a road mishap in Mizoram’s Champhai district on early Friday morning between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. According to reports, the incident occurred when Zokhawthar-Aizawl cab lost control and fell into a gorge near Tuivar area. Police said that there were eight passengers including the driver when the incident occurred and five persons died on the spot while the injured passengers were taken for further treatment in Aizawl. All of them were travelling towards Aizawl when the accident took place.
