Students require innovative ideas and become entrepreneurs who will be able to see opportunities in the darkness.

As the Guest of Honour Dr.Nongmaithem Rajmohon Singh, Dean, School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Manipur University says that OUGRI will provide a platform where the multi-talents of the youths can be showcased.

An extra-curricular activity is also necessary in the modern day of academic performance itself is not enough. It provides a platform for promoting harmony, sense of brotherhood, confidence and emotional integrity. Human dreams of peaceful world and role of youths and student is very important as pillar of nation. Influencing the youths in positive direction can turn earth into heaven and they will be a great asset to bring unity in our nation as a whole. A nation can progress only when the energy of the youth is channelized into a constructive world. They are the key holders who unlock main gate to civilization and modernization.

Appreciating all the staff and students for making the event successful he also wished a successful OUGRI programme for the next 3 days. He felt very attracted to know the theme of this culture activity and best theme for any festival. Culture and sport being a part of the society and life he further said that society will be better when each part of life is good. He advised the volunteers to act in a proper way during the event to avoid any unwanted thing. Prof. KH Manglem Singh-Registrar NIT, Manipur also shared the dais at the function as Guest of Honour.
