ITANAGAR – The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) presented Governor’s Citation to Prof. Saket Kushwala, Vice –Chancellor Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) for his literary acumen, administrative competence and outstanding contribution in the transformative up-gradation of RGU, the lone Central University in Arunachal Pradesh. The other faculty members of RGU, whose good work and distinguished contributions to the students were also cited by the Governor, in a solemn function on 11 th February, 2023 at Raj Bhavan.

The RGU faculty members who were cited by the Governor are Prof. SK Nayak Department of Economics, Prof. B Nayak Department of English, Prof. P K Acharya Department of English, Dr. K P Sing Department of Social Studies, Dr. Miazi Hazam, Department of English, Shri. Ashok Barman Department of Music and Shri. Subendu Mannan Department of Music for their hard work and excellence in the field of education.

The Governor also presented Silver Salver to Shri. Shyam Mehrortra IG, North Eastern Frontier Hq, ITBP, Brig. Anirudh Singh Kanwar, Chief Engineer Project Arunank, BRO and Smti. Neha Yadav, IPS Principal PTC, Banderdeva for their commendable performance and professional competence. The Governor while congratulating the award recipients for their professionalism and good managerial skills implored the awardees to continue their good performance and elan.

The First Lady, Neelam Mishra, Shri. SN Mosobi DIG (Admin), ITBP, Dy Comdt. Sanjay Kumar, Asst Comdt Janardan Pagar, Smti. Monita Kanwar, Shri. Udai Singh Kanwar, Inspector Uday Bahadur Chettry, Instructor PTC and H/C Habum Lalia Instructor PTC were present in the event.
